WELTRON 2001
The Weltron 2001 is a portable 8-track stereo tape player with AM-FM Radio. Introduced in the 1970s, this radio is mostly associated with a space helmet or a space ball, while some also refer to a bowling ball :)
This radio has built-in speakers but you can also plug in external speakers.
Original external speakers are very hard to find, it is nearly impossible to find a complete Weltron 2001 with speakers, especially yellow and red/orange.
It has a mounting ring on top to easily move the radio or take your music along with you.
The Weltron 2001 came in white, red and yellow. White is the most common color.
For 125€-150€ you should be able to find a white working Weltron 2001 without original speakers. For the red and yellow ones, which are less common, they are sold at a higher price. For a yellow Weltron 2001, the price range is situated between 150€ and 250€.
