ROBOT LAMP SATCO
This metallic Robot Lamp from Satco is introduced in the 1960s/1970s.
It is about 10 inch tall.
You can open the mouth of the robot to adjust the light but also to change the light bulb. The robot has a whip antenne with a red flying saucer. Most of the robots come in a silver color, but I also encountered robots with a blue or red color.
It is extremely difficult to find a complete robot as mostly some pieces are missing. Most robots are missing their whip antenne, especially the red flying saucer. In addition, there are many rusty robots for sale.
They do not often appear on the internet, and if they do, they are sold very quickly.
This lamp is mostly sold for a price between 125€ and 200€, depending on the condition of the lamp. You can also find some robots priced lower than 100€, but their condition is rather bad or they miss many pieces (antenne, even an eye, ...).
